Crafted from deadstock hana-mugi, a material that is now exceptionally difficult to source. Each strand of the weave produces a strong natural sheen and an honest, earthy texture. A presence that no current material can replicate — something familiar, something certain.
The traditional boater silhouette, redesigned with a crown depth that's easier to wear today. The approx. 5.5cm standard brim adds a natural refinement to any outfit.
100% natural straw — light and breathable, cool even in the height of summer. A classic that doesn't answer to trends.

Q. What is hana-mugi? A. Hana-mugi is a rare variety of straw with a weave pattern that resembles a flower — strong, lustrous, and visually distinctive. The deadstock material we use carries a particular character and patina that sets it apart from anything currently in production.
Q. What if it gets wet in the rain? A. As a natural material product, please avoid getting it wet. If it does get wet, reshape promptly and leave to dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
Q. What season is it best suited for? A. Spring and summer are the main seasons. The breathable construction keeps things cool even on the strongest summer days — style and comfort together.
