How to Measure Your Head & Choose the Right Hat Size
Choosing the correct hat size starts with measuring your head accurately.
Many ReqHatter hats feature an adjustable inner band, allowing you to achieve a more comfortable and secure fit.
This guide explains how to measure your head, choose the right size, and enjoy the best fit.
How to Measure Your Head
Measure around your head where you would normally wear your hat.
What You'll Need
- A soft measuring tape (recommended)
- A mirror
If you don't have a measuring tape, wrap a piece of string or ribbon around your head and then measure its length with a ruler.
Where to Measure
Place the measuring tape:
- Across the center of your forehead
- Just above your ears
- Around the widest part of the back of your head
Keep the tape level and snug, but not too tight.
For the most accurate result, measure two or three times and use the average measurement.

Adjustable Inner Band
Many ReqHatter hats are equipped with an adjustable inner band.
This allows the hat size to be reduced by approximately 2 cm (0.8"), providing a more customized fit.
The adjustable band is especially useful if:

- Your hairstyle changes
- You prefer a more secure fit
Choosing the Right Size
