How to properly care for your hat

Proper care is essential to enjoying your favorite hat for a long time. Care should be tailored to the material of the hat to keep it in beautiful condition.

1. Daily care

• Remove dust and dirt <br data-start="120" data-end="123">Remove dust by gently brushing with a soft brush or dry cloth. A horsehair brush works best for felt or wool hats.
• Prevent deformation <br data-start="201" data-end="204">After use, reshape the product and store it in a well-ventilated place.

2. What to do when it gets dirty

• Fabric/cotton material <br data-start="277" data-end="280">Dissolve mild detergent in lukewarm water and gently wipe with a soft cloth. Then, remove excess water with a dry towel and dry in the shade.
• Wool/felt material <br data-start="363" data-end="366">Avoid washing with water. Instead, remove dirt with a special cleaner or by brushing.
• Leather material <br data-start="414" data-end="417">Wipe with a dry cloth and moisturize with a special cream to make it last longer.

3. Storage method

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
• To prevent the hats from losing their shape, we use hat stands and special boxes.
• If you are storing it for a long period of time, it is a good idea to put in some moth repellent (be careful not to let it come into direct contact with the hat).
