We extend our deepest condolences to all those who lost their lives in the recent Kumamoto earthquake.
We also offer our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.
To the families of the deceased and all those enduring these difficult, uncertain days, we earnestly pray that a return to peaceful normalcy comes as soon as possible.
ReqHatter is a brand based in Fukuoka.
As we have received orders from customers in Kumamoto as well during this earthquake, this was never a distant matter for us.
After the earthquake struck, we questioned whether continuing to run ads in this situation was truly appropriate, and we even considered temporarily suspending ad delivery to Kumamoto.
However, after rethinking what we can do right now, we concluded that instead of halting our business, continuing operations as usual and directing our profits toward relief efforts would better support the disaster-stricken region in the long term.
Therefore, as our support for those affected by this earthquake, ReqHatter has decided to donate a portion of our July 2026 profits.
We will finalize our donation recipient after verifying with relief organizations operating in the disaster zone and donation collection points, and we will provide a formal update once the donation has been completed.
While this is a small gesture, we hope we can lend a hand to as many people as possible.
Please note that aftershocks are still ongoing, and some areas are experiencing disruptions to lifelines and transportation. Please prioritize your safety and the safety of your loved ones above all else. Confirm the latest information announced by the government and local authorities, and refrain from taking unnecessary risks.
We are a brand that makes hats, but first and foremost, as a Kyushu-based company, we want to stand together with our community.
We earnestly pray for the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the disaster-stricken areas.
