When I was in high school, I took a ferry from a remote island in my hometown, Nagasaki Prefecture, on a long vacation.

I was most looking forward to going shopping to Fukuoka.

More than 20 years ago, vintage clothing and street fashion were popular.
I also spend my days obsessively visiting second-hand clothing stores.

A bright red CAP with a college logo that I fell in love with at first sight at a store.

Looking back, even on days when I looked strange and unsuitable,

At that time, the CAP was so big that you wouldn't go out without it.

For me, that hat is a necessity.
I think it was "Required one".

“I want to someday create a product that will become an essential item for those who use it.”

With this in mind, I launched Req Hatter.

The hat brand ReqHatter was founded in March 2023.

I myself was crazy about visiting second-hand clothing shops every day.

I fell in love at first sight with a bright red cap with a college logo at one shop.

Looking back, it was such a big part of my life that I would never go out without it, even on days when I was dressed in eccentric and unsuitable outfits.

For me, that hat is a necessity.
"Required one".
I think it was.



I want to make a product that will one day become a necessity for those who use it."

That's how I started Req Hatter.
